…..and here we are at the end of 2025. We have been busy with Beadery events lately and it seems time has been moving quickly so here I am trying to figure out where that time has gone.
As of the last blog post in April, I had just returned from Ireland and shortly thereafter started our event season. We had a great season, May thru December, with a couple events not so great but we survived and will rework our next Beadery season with a few changes. We will hold onto those events that were fantastic for us of course but will add a couple of new events and maybe return to a couple of old events just to see our customers, family, and friends.
But then in November we also became great grandparents! I was able to fly back to Colorado Springs and hold this baby girl, Amariella, for a couple days before having to get back home for November Beadery events. She is so beautiful and we are blessed.
I go into the 2026 year gaining a new robotic left knee in January. Just a couple more weeks left of pain and limping but looking forward to being able to “jump” into the next Driftwood Beadery season in May. Please keep me in your thoughts.
We hope that we will be able to make a few long car rides (probably not pulling the trailer) but possibly to Colorado, Arkansas, and/or Florida to visit family prior to the next busy season. We both need a scenic trip away from Beadery and the insides of this house for a minute. Life is too short!
As time moves on and days go by, please remember to be kind, hug your family and loved ones, and keep on keeping on. Thanks always goes out to my ever-loving husband because without him, I would not be able to move my equipment and set up. Without him, I would be lost. So! On that note, I will leave you with this thought….
