…..but we’ve had a good year. In April we added a new member to our family…..5 yr old Happy Hank. Cutest little black maltese yorkie. He came with his orange/pink ball he holds in his mouth like a pacifier and all of his blankies, treats, bedding, shampoos, brushes, etc!! He loves to play catch and hit the ball on his nose back to you if tossed to him. He keeps himself constantly entertained by batting his ball under the couch and chasing it. He rules the roost …… sometimes …. or he would like to because Mocha Bean is still Queen Bee!
Of course we attended a couple of events in the spring…..our usual event in Brookings, Oregon end of May, Garibaldi Days in July, along with a couple of stops before arriving at home in August. Since then we have had a couple of other successful close-to-home events.
Meanwhile, in June we travelled by car up into Washington State and saw some beautiful scenery while visiting the Olympic National Forest. We ferried across the sound and stopped in to chat with a longtime friend in Anacortes before driving over to Leavenworth. Fruit stands with rainier cherries were in abundance and those were most yummy. It was a very fun trip without the trailer this time.
In September, we did spend a week at Wallowa Lake enjoying the ride up the mountain on the tram and riding the railroad cars in Joseph……which we would do again and recommend anyone else doing them as well. Always such a beautiful place!
We were able to finally return to Beverly Beach State Park, south of Lincoln City, in October for a week following the reconstruction of the park. Other than raining a whole day and night, it was as beautiful as ever.
We still have three more events for this year before we hit the road with the trailer in December. Stay tuned for those travelling adventures next blog!
I do want to thank you all for your support over the past year. I am blessed to have such a great fan base for the craft I enjoy building. May you all have a fantastic New Year and, if you need a new hanger, contact me thru my website, let me know what you’re thinking, and I will work diligently on that!
Blessings ~ Robin
