…..I find myself longing for the coast. I will turn a year older in October and we will be heading that way for a week of R&R. It sounds funny to say that because we are retired and should already be resting and relaxing, but we have been off in different directions doing other things for the past couple months so now we just need a time out.
We did have a visit from our daughter and our year-old grandson from Florida beginning of August. It was a hot few days but spending time with them was most enjoyable.
Following their visit, we took a road trip to Colorado Springs with our granddaughter in the back seat to attend our other daughter and son-in-law’s renewal of their vows at the end of August. We had a great visit with five more of our ten grandchildren as we had not been all together for several years. We were happy we could spend timed with them. It was a beautiful drive there and back but as always looked forward to being home after a week and a half. As they say, “there’s no place like home”.
We are now gearing up for a busy event season. In just a couple weeks, we will be setting up for the Heart of the Rogue Festival in downtown Medford, Oregon. This will be a first for us but hoping it will have a good turnout. We are adding another event, Stars & Stripes Holiday Market, beginning of November at the local high school here in Eagle Point. We have the annual Beaverton High School Holiday Bazaar, in Beaverton, Oregon mid November, then at the beginning of December we will be returning to Grants Pass High School Holiday Bazaar.
Check my calendar often for future opportunities to come see what we have created. Please stop by and say ‘HI’ and don’t forget that you can place an order anytime thru my website here.
In the meantime, I will be busy building more beautiful hangers for you all to see and purchase for that special someone…..and just maybe that special someone is YOU!
Thank you for your support!
